The school project series “ExperienceMusic”
The interdisciplinary and transnational school project series “Experience music” of the Europa Chor Akademie has set itself the task of opening up new perspectives in the (music) cultural sector for young people and motivating them for special works of classical choir symphonic work.
“Experience music” offers an accompanying educational programme on the work and topic for selected concerts that is intended to initiate inter-disciplinary and linking work in teaching projects related to the work. The educational offer includes a booklet on the topic, a further training course for teachers, the public presentation of the pupils' works within the framework of a pupils' competition as well as an action day with many and varied workshops in which the pupils can deal actively and creatively with the work. The concert is the conclusion and climax at the end of the project phase.
The project is specially promoted by the Ministry of Science, Further Education, Research and Culture Rhineland-Palatinate, the Sparkassen- und Giroverband Rhineland-Palatinate, Provinzial and the Bremen Senator for Education and Science.
